Some Major Name-Dropping!
So since I last wrote about a concert I’ve seen Four concerts with 2 more coming up, but I won’t talk about those just yet.
Lets seeeeee… went to Hangar 84 last day of school to see My Name Is Drew we were there for idk I want to say 6 hours but that seems long. We never actually got to see Mansions who was the headliner. I headed home with a Case Closed cd, Daybreaker cd, Jim Heffernan cd, and a Transitshop cd. (This was of course accompanied by a My Name is Drew shirt and a Case Closed poster and a ton of Transitshop stickers.) Also saw some great acts like Fast Car and The David Earl Experience.
So the next show I saw was a freebie at the Piazza at Schmidts. It was a Summer Block Party hosted by 104.5. They had Panic Years, the Naked & Famous, and Airborne Toxic Event.
After that I saw a very awesome show down at the Festival Pier. It was Ra Ra Riot, Jack’s Mannequin, and Guster. It was highly enjoyable.
The most recent concert I went to was the last night of Fueled By Ramen’s 15th Anniversary shows at Terminal 5. They had a completely stacked line-up starting with Versa Emerge then going to A Rocket to the Moon over to The Academy Is… (their last show) with a surprise of Gym Class Heroes and a record breaking performance by Cobra Starship. This was honestly one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to and if you read any of my reviews I go to some pretty amazing concerts.
Sooooo to make up for all this lateness I’m going to post some vids of my fav songs by these guys and maybe later some pictures and videos taken from my camera and most definitely some new muffin videos!!
